JSW Colouron plus Al-Zinc alloy coated steel offers products with a unique blend of advantages – the strength of steel, the enhanced corrosion resistance of Al-Zinc alloys coating and an aesthetic appeal of paint. Backed by the trusted name and quality of JSW Steel, this new product is sure to add colour to the world of steel users.JSW Vishwas Plus is a durable coated steel product in which steel is coated with an aluminium-zinc alloy consisting 55% Aluminium, 43.4% Zinc and 1.6% Silicon by weight. The coating has a unique microstructure that consists of two layers i.e. the Al-Zn overlay coating and a thin intermetallic alloy at the steel/coating interface. The unique alloy coating of Aluminium and Zinc combines the best properties of both metals and makes it the preferred choice for many reasons- longevity, appearance, strength, economy, variety of applications and adaptability.
Superior quality steel
JSW Colouron plus Al-Zinc alloy coated steel is manufactured using high quality hot metal made of most superior and environment friendly Corex technology. It offers several grades including high tensile steel with yield strength of 550 mpa to meet the needs of various specifications

Superior paint technology
JSW Colouron Al-Zinc alloy steel is available in a variety of paint systems like Regular Modified Polyester (RMP), Silicon Modified Polyester (SMP), Super Durable Polyester (SDP), Poly Vinyldened Fluoride (PVDF) etc. The base metal has the first layer of primer coating on both top and bottom surface for superior adhesion with the paint system. The final paint coating provides additional protection to withstand harsh weather conditions and other factors affecting longer life. The superior coating technology resists cracking and peeling even during heavy forming operations.

Excellent corrosion protection
Colouron Plus is available in a wide Al-Zinc alloy coated range (70 to 200 gsm) to provide excellent corrosion protection in various climatic conditions.

Additional protection
A thin organic low-density polythene film (30-40 microns) protects the sheet from transit and storage damage and lubricates the sheet surface during forming. It also helps in retaining the coated sheet’s appearance for a long period of time.

Formability
Can be readily roll formed, bend, pressed, cut, drilled, lock seamed and stamped without sacrificing coating adhesion/ quality of paint.

Architectural creativity
Easy formability and bending property opens new horizons to the architect’s creativity. The wide range of colours provides options to the architect to customize requirements.

Aesthetic appeal
Available in a wide range of colours, finishes, gloss levels and textures with exceptional batch-to-batch consistency.

Easy to install and maintenance free
| It is quick, easy and convenient to use JSW Colouron plus Al-Zinc alloy steel for roofing and cladding application due to low weight and zero breakages. The availability in wide product range makes installation easy and convenient with minimum wastages. The
light-weight high strength combination makes them economical as they require lighter supporting structure and also reduces transportation costs. And they are virtually maintenance free. |

Thermal efficiency
Roof made from light coloured JSW colouron plus Al-Zinc alloy steel can result in less heat radiation into the home compared to other commonly used roofing materials. Steel roof when combined with insulation makes a cost effective, energy efficient roofing system.

Environment friendly
JSW colouron plus Al-Zinc alloy steel has a long life and if eventually replaced are recyclable without losing quality. The paint used to coat the base metal is also toxic free
